With this talk, Mathilde will open a discussion around what it means to collect, process, and make decisions based on data, focusing on critically and creatively enhancing the capacities of planners and designers through data analytics and novel technologies to support the practical implementation of urban spatial justice. Geared at exploring actionable approaches to the urban challenges that emerge from the climate crisis and fast-paced urban development, and within the context of rapid technological advancement, the talk will explore gendered perspectives for a just mobility transition, and the development of guidelines and design and decision support tools for the implementation of accessible and sustainable urban development.
