Based on a case study of Berlin-Neukölln micromapping, this workshop will enable participants to explore OSM as a micromapping tool that can be utilized by civil society, city planners, and researchers. Elmer will introduce the possibilities for it to be used for more detailed or even dynamic data. Gathering data needs from participants’ backgrounds, Elmer will take them through the practical part of the workshop in the city terrain, showing them first-hand how easy it is to collect and map the data, or even extract data automatically.
